Love Your Neighbor work day this Friday February 12th @ 9:00AM. Volunteers are always welcome and needed. In the event of bad weather we will follow the Beth Center School delay and cancellations.

COMMUNION SERVICE – Our Communion Service will be held on Feb. 11th.

TOTAL TRANSFORMATION AUDIO PROGRAM – Beginning Friday, February 12, at 7:00 p.m. Calvary Chapel of Fredericktown will host a nine-week audio course entitled, “The Total Transformation Program”. This course provides tools and techniques to help parents with teens/preteens become more effective, and is designed as a step-by-step program to help you understand and manage disrespectful, obnoxious and abusive behavior in your child or grandchild. Please note that the course is a comprehensive program for change, and that each lesson builds on the preceding one, so it is important to start at the beginning and proceed through the entire program. Due to the severe weather and state of emergency declared in Washington County, services are canceled for Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH: Please sign in all children in the appropriate areas as follows: Infant thru 2yrs will meet in the nursery.  3 yr old thru K will meet in the preschool room.  1st thru 8th grade will meet during the first service in the first floor classroom, and during the 2nd service in the basement cafeteria.   Please remember to sign out your children from the nursery and the classrooms immediately following the service.  A “Cry Room” is available in the rear of the sanctuary for small infants or for nursing mothers.

In accordance with Acts 2:42, we will enjoy communion on the first Thursday of every month:  Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in he apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and  in prayers

 

Tithes & Offerings are accepted in the Tithe & Offering Box located in the rear of the sanctuary. 

Sunday Services are simultaneously broadcast in the Fellowship Hall. 

Media Library is open prior to and just following each service.

 

SERMON DOWNLOADS – Current CC Fredericktown sermons are available for download from the “Sermon Player” on the church website by mid-afternoon each Sunday.

 UPCOMING GUEST SPEAKERS – Please welcome guest speaker Bil Gallatin, Calvary Chapel Finger Lakes.  Bil Gallatin was the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel in the Finger Lakes region of New York for over 28 years.

Geoff Brede will be our guest speaker on Thursday, Feb. 4th (and again the next morning at our school’s chapel).  Pastor Geoff is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Rochester in New York State.

COMMUNION SERVICE Our Communion Service will be held on Feb. 11th. 

 LADIES NIGHT OUT – Ladies, on Friday, February 5th, you are invited to share a night out together in a time of food, fellowship and fun.  We  will meet at the church at 5:30p.m. and caravan to Laverne’s Diner for dinner.  Following dinner we will then travel on to Yanak’s Lanes in Jefferson, PA for an evening of bowling (7-9p.m.).  Participants will pay for their own dinner, and the cost of bowling will be $10 (or less), to be paid on the night of the outing.  We need at least 15 ladies to attend, but more will lower the cost per person for bowling.  It is very important that you sign-up if you intend to go bowling so we may calculate the cost.  A sign-up sheet is located in the rear of the sanctuary.  The sign-up deadline is TODAY, January 31st We apologize for the short notice.

COOKIE OUTREACH DRIVERS – Please return address cards from your Christmas cookie outreach deliveries ASAP to Carol Steve.  Thank you for your service to the Lord and to our local communities!

COMPUTER HELP NEEDED – Our school is in need of a volunteer able to install computer hardware, memory, and software & to manage antivirus and IP address issues.  Interested persons should call Leah or Beckie at 377-2523 during school hours.

ANNUAL SPAGHETTI FUNDRAISER DINNER – TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILBLE in the church library, following church services, and in the school office (administration building) throughout the week.  Cost is $6.  Proceeds will benefit our school.    ATTENTION – The regular Tuesday evening prayer meeting will still be held at 7p.m.  Those who plan to attend the meeting should reserve for the 5 p.m. dinner.  The annual CCCS spaghetti fundraiser will be held at Hugo’s Restaurant on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.  The will be two seating times, the first from 5p.m. to 6:30p.m., and the second from 6:30 to 8p.m.  Dinner will include spaghetti, bread, salad, drinks and desert.  NOTE:  The school is in need of dessert donations.  Contact the school office at 377-2523.

SECRET SISTERS FELLOWSHIP – The 2010 Secret Sisters Fellowship is in the process of organizing. Secret sisters is a ministry in which ladies have the opportunity to minister secretly to other ladies in the church by praying for them, writing encouraging notes, and simply befriending them.  An overview of the ministry and sign-up information are available on the rear table. Participant names will be drawn in mid to late February.  Contact Georgie Stayley or Shelly Thomas with questions.
