Announcements for the week of July 20, 2008

CCCS PARENT MEETING TONIGHT – This meeting is for parents of children currently enrolled or interested in enrolling in CCCS, grades Preschool through 12th grade. The meeting is at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
GET INVOLVED – Volunteers are needed for the Love Your Neighbor (LYN) Ministry, every 4th Saturday of the month (from 8a.m. to 12 noon). LYN distributes donated childrens clothing, and serves breakfast to families from our local communities. If you would like to get involved in this ministry, please place your name and phone number on the sign-up sheet located in the rear of the sanctuary. If week days are better for your schedule, volunteers are also needed on work days when we process donations. Our next work day is Friday, July 25.
OLD FASHIONED CHURCH PICNIC – On July 27, our church will host an “Old Fashioned Church Picnic” @ Ten-Mile Creek Park. Activities will include a sack race, 3 legged race, tug of war, egg toss, and a pie eating contest. Please bring a dish large enough to feed your family, + 4 more. In you plan to attend, please sign the sheet in the rear of the sanctuary.

COOK BOOK – We continue to accept recipes for the “Calvary Chapel Cooks” cookbook, and will do so until the book goes to press. Contact Carol Steve, or email wordpress.com to submit a recipe.
EMPTY DISH-DETERGENT BOTTLES WANTED – The Youth Group is in need of empty dish detergent bottles to use for their Summer Tour Games. Please place bottles in crate located in foyer.
ADDRESS UPDATE – For all who wish to send cards to Andy Balog: Andy is no longer in the hospital send cards c/o the church.
CALVARY CHAPEL CARD MINISTRY – The Lord has started a new ministry to reach out to His flock. If you know someone who needs His encouragement, please drop a note in the card ministry box located in the back of the sanctuary.
