CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE – A Christmas Eve Service will be held on Wednesday, December 24th, at 7pm. Services on Thursday, December 25th are cancelled.
WHITE TUBE SOCKS – As we approach the Christmas holiday, please remember our Tube Sock collection for the Homeless of New York City. Our desire is to take 1000 pairs of Men’s white tube socks with us when we go to minister in April. It’s hard to imagine that a simple pair of white tube socks could be used as a tool to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but imagine being homeless and trudging through puddles of slush and snow. How would your feet feel? The homeless don’t have a drawer full of warm dry sock to pull from. When you hand a man or women who is living on the streets a new pair of socks they immediately know that you care and they are open to listening to you as you share your faith. Why? Because they have experienced your faith in action and know that it is real. Wal-Mart sells a Jerzees 6 pack for $4.
WINTER TEEN RETREAT- Mark your calendar! Snow Camp “09″ is scheduled for February 6-8th. Cost is $118.00. If you would like to help sponsor a teen who might not otherwise have the finances to attend, you may place a donation in the offering box. Please mark your donation “Snow Camp”.
