NEW STUDY - We will begin a new study in the Book of Romans on Sunday, January 11th. Our current study in Numbers 17, will resume on Thursday, January 15th.

CCCS SCHOOL BOARD MEETING - A school board meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 14th at 7:00 p.m.
36th ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE - Thursday, January 22, 2009 @ 12 noon on the Mall, Washington, D.C. Americans will gather in our Nation’s capital to bring a simple message to Washington “Officialdom”, “that the intentional killing of even one innocent pre-born human is never licit or justified”.
INCLEMENT WEATHER - In case of inclement weather, please call the church at (724) 377-2522 for information concerning that day’s services.
THEY’RE HERE! - The “Calvary Chapel Cooks” Cookbooks have arrived. Please purchase your copy in the hall, just outside the library. The cost of the cookbook is $15, with proceeds benefitting our mission projects.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH HELP NEEDED - Children’s church is looking for substitute teachers. If interested, please contact Mr. Daniel for information at 724-377-2523.
SNACK DONATIONS APPRECIATED - Children’s Church is in need of snacks such as gummi bears, animal crackers, pretzels, healthy snacks, etc. Please give snack donations to Mr. Daniel.
WINTER TEEN RETREAT - Mark your calendar! Snow Camp “09″ is scheduled for February 6-8th. Cost is $118.00. If you would like to help sponsor a teen who might not otherwise have the finances to attend, you may place a donation in the offering box. Please mark your donation “Snow Camp”.
CARD MINISTRY – Andy Staley is currently recovering from a serious car accident. Please shower him with cards of encouragement.
ONGOING…
Tube Sock Collection - We continue to work toward our goal of collecting 1000 pairs of tube socks for the homeless of New York City. Please place donations in the collection box in the foyer.
Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education - Calvary Chapel Christian School is collecting Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels. As you purchase General Mills products, please clip and save the “Box Tops for Education” coupon on the package. The school will receive 10 cents for each box top. The school is also collecting Campbell’s Labels to earn school equipment. Go to www.labelsforeducation.com for a complete list of Campbell’s products. Please deposit the box tops and labels in the box located in the vestibule.
Cash for Trash - We continue to collect aluminum cans (please no scrap metal). All proceeds benefit mission trips. Please rinse your cans and place them in plastic garbage bags. Collection containers are located in the rear of the LYN house.
Recycle to Benefit School - CCCS needs your used printer cartridges. Staples will give the school $3 to be used for school supplies for every used printer cartridge they collect. A cartridge deposit box is located in the vestibule.
REMINDER -The Youth Group continues to collect our empty dish detergent bottle donations for use. Please place bottles in crate located in foyer.
