CCCS SCHOOL BOARD MEETING – A school board meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria (church basement).
36th ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE- Thursday, January 22, 2009 @ 12 noon on the Mall, Washington, D.C. Americans will gather in our Nation’s capital to bring a simple message to Washington “Officialdom”, “that the intentional killing of even one innocent pre-born human is never licit or justified”.
INCLEMENT WEATHER – In case of inclement weather, please call the church at (724) 377-2522 for information concerning that day’s services.
COOKBOOKS – Don’t forget to pick up your copy of the “Calvary Chapel Cooks” Cookbook. They make great gifts for all occasions. Please purchase your copy in the hall, just outside the library. The cost of the cookbook is $15. Proceeds benefit our mission projects.
PASS IT ON!- Psalm 78:4 reads, “…we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Children’s Church continues to need willing servants who want to pass on the Word of God to the next generation. You can help on a short term or long term basis. You can help on a weekly or a monthly basis, or even help from home as a prayer warrior for this ministry. If you sense the need and/or have the willingness to serve in your heart, please call Mr Daniel (724-377-2523).
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER – Pastor Bil Gallatin will be our guest speaker on Sunday, February 1st.
SOCKS OF LOVE – Special Valentine Collection: Won’t you send the message that “Jesus loves you” to the homeless & needy people on the streets of New York City by donating a pack of men’s, white tube socks. For those in need , a tangible gift explains the love of Christ more than words can. Matthew 25:35-46 …I needed clothes and you clothed me…The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me…Please help us clothe the feet of those we will be ministering to in New York.
GAG NIGHT – Teens, this Friday Night (Jan 16th from 7-10PM)is GAG Night (Games & Activities Galore), and we will be playing the best of the best Youth Group games. Come join in all the fun, and bring a friend along with you. We are asking for a $5 donation which will go to support the NYC Mission Trip this April. Permission slips & information fliers are on the back table.

SNOW CAMP – Camp registration deadline is fast approaching. Registration and payment is due by January 22nd. Camp will be held from February 6 through 8. Cost is $118. Those willing to help sponsor a teen who might not otherwise have the finances to attend may place donations in the offering box, in an envelope marked “Snow Camp”.

HIRE A MISSIONARY – Are you in need of a little help accomplishing your New Years “To Do List”? Maybe you’re looking for a reliable babysitter so you could enjoy an evening out, or maybe you’d just like some help getting your yard in shape this spring? If this is you, look no further, help is here! Please check out our “Hire A Missionary” bulletin board located in the downstairs entrance hallway, where you’ll find posted the resumes of missionaries looking to earn some much needed funds to attend April’s New York mission trip. Our missionaries are very hard working and have many skills & talents to offer. On the bottom of each resume you will find a phone number for you to call and schedule their services.
