Announcements for the week of July 12, 2009

BIBLE CAMP OUTREACH – On Thursday evening, July 16th, the teens will canvass the community, passing out flyers inviting children to come to Bible Camp. We need adult volunteers to accompany teens & provide transportation. If interested in leading a team of teens, please sign the sheet in the rear of the sanctuary. Everyone welcome!
BELIEVER’S MEETING – The next Believer’s meeting will be held on Sunday, July 19th at 7:00 p.m.
CONCERT – Calvary Chapel of Fredericktown will present Donnie V, a Christian Blues artist, in concert on Saturday, July 25th at 7:00 p.m. Flyers NOW AVAILABLE on back table.

MEETING FOR BIBLE CAMP VOLUNTEERS- On Sunday July 19th immediately following the 2nd service, we will hold another meeting to hand out the Bible Camp curriculum, schedule, and volunteer positions. It is very important to attend this meeting as Bible Camp starts July 27 and this will be our last group meeting prior to July 27 at 8:00 am at 10 Mile Park. Your area leaders will use this meeting to hook up with you in case they need your help in preparation. Contact Mr. Daniel with any questions. ALSO Bible Camp FLYERS are now available on the table in the rear of the sanctuary. Please pick a few up to pass out to your neighbors. BIBLE CAMP is scheduled for JULY 27-31 at 10 Mile Park. We believe this event has two purposes: 1.to minister to the children in our fellowship and 2. To serve as an outreach to the children in our community! The theme for Bible Camp is “Love God, Love Others” and is found in Mark 12:28-34! Please pre-register your child TODAY – it helps us tremendously in our preparation. WANTED! – Jeans! Dead or Alive! Seriously any kind: old, worn, ripped, torn, faded, stained, new, and colors too. Place your unwanted jeans in container in the vestibule. For more information contact Carol Steve.

OLD-FASHIONED PICNIC – An Old-Fashioned Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 26th following the second service at Ten Mile Park. Meat and drinks will be provided , so bring a side dish or dessert enough for your family plus 4 more. The fun will include sack races, a three-legged race, special music, fellowship, and more. If you plan to attend PLEASE fill out the sign-up sheet on the table in the rear of the sanctuary. We want to be faithful stewards and purchase the proper amount of food and drink – this is why we need to know how many are coming. ALSO, servants are needed to help with clean-up after the potluck, and unloading at the church. A sign-up sheet is in the rear of the sanctuary.

LADIES SUMMER BIBLE STUDY – The ladies will meet this Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the home of Tricia Blatnik. Please call Beckie Cannon with any questions regarding the study.

LYN WORKDAY – The LYN Workday is scheduled for July 17th.

SUMMER TOUR – Every Thursday the teens hold their Youth Meeting at Ten Mile Park. We leave from the church PROMPTLY at 7:00PM.. Permission Slips for transportation are needed and are available on the back table.

CHURCH/SCHOOL SUMMER WORK DAYS – We have scheduled workdays for each Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. throughout the summer. We are also looking for people willing to prepare lunch for the work crews. We have much to do this summer: maintenance, painting, construction, and cleaning. There’s something for almost anyone! If you can volunteer, please call the church office at 724-377-2522, or show up Saturday.

NURSERY MINISTRY LEADER NEEDED – We are looking for volunteer(s) to take over the Nursery Ministry. This primarily involves making the nursery schedule for each service. Please see Diane Swartz for more information or call the church office (724-377-2522).
