CHRISTIAN BLUES ARTIST, “Donnie V”! – On Saturday, July 16 @ 7p.m. in our church sanctuary.  Donnie was a church worship leader in the 70’s & 80’s who once walked away from the Lord.  With the love and prayers of his wonderful wife, he rededicated his life to the Lord, and today the two of them travel the country sharing the Gospel of grace through his music.  Christian Blues.net says of Donnie V, “This is passionate blues played with raw emotion.  Donnie sings passionately about his own life’s sorrows and a lonely broken world searching for love.  The love found in Jesus!”

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – Please join us in collecting certain items each month for OCC, leading up to a shoe box packing party in November.  The June collection item is GIRLS TOYS.  Please place donations in the collection box in the foyer.  See Tricia Blatnik with questions.

  4. What are your memories of your first Sunday at CCF?  When was that?

Malachi 3:16-17, “Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them;  So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine, says the LORD of hosts, On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”

Statement of Faith & Style of Ministry:  Calvary Chapel of Fredericktown is a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.   We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.  We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

In order to identify Calvary Chapel as conservative in theology and evangelical, we set forth this general statement of fundamental beliefs:

1.  We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible,   authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.

2.  We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

3.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4.  We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

5.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.

6.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”  Psalm 150:6
