HARVEST FESTIVAL PREPARATIONS – We are seeking donations of candy for this year’s Harvest Festival to be held on Saturday, October 29th. Please place candy donations in the box in the vestibule. Thank you.
LADIES MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY – Resumed on Oct 3. They currently are in the Gospel of John. It’s never too late to join, so please consider attending. No child care is presently available. See Shelly Thomas with questions.
MICROWAVE NEEDED – Calvary Chapel Christian School is in need of a microwave. If you have one that you would like to donate, please contact the school office at 724-377-2523.
TEXTING PRAYER CHAIN – Calvary Chapel now has a “texting” prayer chain. If you want to participate, please sign-up on the sheet in the rear of the sanctuary. Call Diane Swartz with questions.
MEN’S BREAKFAST – The next Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, October 15 @8a.m. A signup sheet will be placed in the rear of the sanctuary. Please indicate your intention to come, and what you will contribute so that John can plan accordingly. See John Bakewell with any questions.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – Currently we are collecting. Filled shoe boxes for OCC. The deadline for all boxes is Nov, 11. If you are able to help with shipping, please include it in your boxes. BETH-CENTER BIBLE CLUB – If you have a child that attends Beth Center Elementary School grades 2-5 don’t miss out on a fantastic opportunity….Beth Center Bible Club! It’s free, and busing is provided. Classes are held on Wednesday mornings for 1hr. Sign-up forms are on the back table. Any questions call Jodee Cannon.

YOUTH MISSION OUTREACH – This year’s youth mission outreach will be working in support of the “Light of Life” Rescue Mission (North Side,Pittsburgh). On November 4th we will assemble brown bag lunches to feed 150 men at theMission. If you would like to partner with us, we would appreciate the following donations of food items to fill the lunch bags. A sign up list is on the back table for you to indicate the items you are willing to donate. Please bring donations to the church by Thursday November 3rd.

NEW OUTREACH PROGRAM – “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” -1 John 3:18 Calvary Chapel is starting a new phone call/visitation outreach ministry. If you or someone you know would like a phone call, or visit for prayer, or friendly conversation, please let us know by picking up a yellow contact card from the rear table, and dropping your completed contact card in the tithe/offering box at the back of the sanctuary. This is not just a one-time call – you will stay on our list for regular calls or visits until you ask to be removed. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to participate in reaching out to our church family and newcomers. Prayer warriors are also needed! For those interested, please contact Dave Rager for further information.
Statement of Faith & Style of Ministry: Calvary Chapel of Fredericktown is a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
In order to identify Calvary Chapel as conservative in theology and evangelical, we set forth this general statement of fundamental beliefs:
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.
6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH: Parents, please sign in (and out), your children ages Infant – 6th grade as listed in the print bulletin. In consideration of the Children’s Ministry workers and their families, please remember to sign your children out of class, immediately following the service. A “Cry Room” is available in the rear of the sanctuary for small infants and nursing mothers.
